What is the purpose of SEPAC?
- To provide direct input to the district on the policies, programs, and practices that impact services and supports for the children with disabilities and their families.
- To foster a collaborative relationship between parents and school district staff.
- To create opportunities for parents to become more knowledgeable about the special education process and advocate more effectively on behalf of their children.
We are a group of parents who work closely with the Special Education Department to provide educational workshops and share important information on community based resources.
**SEPAC is not a forum for parents to raise specific concerns about their child and his/her IEP or 504 Plan. If you have concerns about your child’s Plan, please contact his/her teacher and/or case manager directly. You can also contact the Supervisor of the Child Study Team, Beth Ann Godfrey, at: [email protected]
